in this project, we learned how to generate random numbers and do calclations for probability!

craps

in this project, we applied basic rules to our code to make an online game of vegas craps that tells you if you win or lose on the first roll and rolls after!

circle bounce

in this project, we used a canvas function to make circles that bounce off eachother and the walls

tank

in this project, we drew out a tank and used key presses to change directions; we also randomized the target's location on the page!

space invaders

in this project, we made a space invaders game with timers and drew out the characters.

multiple circle bounce

in this project, we applied arrays to our original circle bounce to make more circle objects bounce independently and change thier size and colors.

submarine

in this project, we used an array to move fish independently that avoid the submarine. the submarin can be moved down, left or right and autonomously moves upwards. There is a smaller fish which if it touches another fish, loses health, so the object of the game is to protect the pink fish.

about me

I am a sophomore at Brea Olinda High School and this year, I am taking AP Euro, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Seminar, AP Precalculus, Honors Chemistry, and French 2! I golf for my school and I am involved in robotics, baking club, and rotary. I also created my own philanthropy project, Cookies 4 Kids where I teach girls at shelters how to bake! I have baked ever since I was a kid and I love being able to share it with others!

Background

last year in GITA, we learned C# as our introduction to computer science and this year we are learning HTML and javascript. This year, I hope to get all A's in my classes, help those around me, and get involved in more clubs! In the future, I hope to go into an engineering field! feel free to look around my website at this year's projects as well as mine from last year!
